CATERHAM TO RACE AT SEPANG
This weekend marks the first time that the new Caterham Series V factory built race car will thunder around Sepang at full force.
The 1.6 litre, 140bhp machine has gone through a lot of testing this year, and Sri Lankan racer Shirendra Lawrence will be the first to put the car through it’s race pace.
Speaking about this historical event, Caterham Motorsport Asia CEO Campbell Tupling, “Caterham are excited to have our Supersport Asia car participating this weekend. It will be great to see the car racing after it has done 200 trouble free laps in testing, events and demo runs.”
The new series that will be taking Asian motorsport by storm is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in the region. “We have sold enough cars for a solid grid and production dates have been booked in the UK factory,” says Campbell.
