Tan Sri Azman Yahya to Race Round 1 of the Malaysian Caterham Championship
Malaysian entrepreneur and former Motorsports Association of Malaysia Chairman Tan Sri Azman Yahya has been confirmed to race in the first round of the Caterham Championship in April.
A seasoned racer in the Malaysian Super Series and Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race that he both won in 2004, Tan Sri Azman drove the Caterham in full force during the March test at Sepang International Circuit, proving that he still has the speed to compete.
Speaking after his test Tan Sri Azman is ready to attack his first race in two years. “The Caterham is really great fun. I’m looking forward to racing in April.”
The inaugural round of the Caterham Championship in Malaysia will be run during the second round of the Malaysian Championship Series on April 24-26.
