Motul Caterham Motorsports 2022 Championship calendar announcement
Caterham Motorsports South East Asia is pleased to announce its calendar for the 7th year of the Championship.
With Motul returning as the title partner the Championship will begin on May 20-22 with further events on June 18-19, July 22-24 and Sept 16-18.
All events in 2022 will take place at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
The one-make Championship is run with the iconic Seven in 310R and 420R configurations and uses Hankook tires. Drivers herald from Malaysia, Australia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, France and the UK. Additional guest drivers in previous years have come from Bulgaria, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand.
Known for its tight technical specifications and wheel to wheel racing the Championship is open to all drivers with National C licences.
Planning for 2022 has been difficult given the global circumstances but Caterham Motorsports looks forward to a full season after a shortened 2020 campaign and a lack of racing in 2021.
The Seven will again offer the great value and exciting racing the brand is known for globally.
Fans of the Seven will be interested to know Caterham will be bringing the Seven to the Malaysian roads very shortly.
